Jewellery Care

A little care goes a long way.

Everyday Care

Your Wisp jewellery is made to be worn and enjoyed. A little care will help keep your pieces looking their best for longer.

Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotions and harsh chemicals, as these can affect metals, finishes and natural materials over time. We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.

Gold-Plated Jewellery

Gold plating naturally changes with wear over time. To help preserve the finish, minimise contact with water, perfume, skincare products and chemicals.

How quickly the finish changes depends on how often a piece is worn, your skin and how it’s cared for. A little fading over time is a natural part of wearing plated jewellery.

Pearls & Natural Materials

Freshwater pearls, natural stones, shells and other natural materials are beautifully individual. Variations in shape, colour and texture are part of their character, which means no two pieces will be exactly alike.

These materials can also be delicate. Keep them away from chemicals and prolonged contact with water, and avoid dropping or knocking them against hard surfaces.

Cleaning

Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid abrasive cloths, polishing products and strong jewellery cleaners, particularly on pearls, natural stones and plated finishes.

Storing Your Jewellery

Keep your jewellery somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight. Store pieces separately where possible to help prevent scratching, tangling and unnecessary wear.

The pouch or box your Wisp piece arrives in is a good place to keep it when it’s not being worn.
